Petersen EB bow shackle - stainless steel
Marine grade 316L bow shackle suitable for offshore lifting operations

The Petersen EB bow shackle, manufactured from low-carbon stainless steel EN10088 1.4404 (marine grade 316L), in accordance with UNS S31603 and 316S11, excels in lifting applications where a high level of corrosion resistance is required. It meets the performance requirements of EN 13889:2003 and US Federal Specification RR-C-271 Type IVA (Anchor Links) and Type IVB (Chain Links), Classes 2 (Screw Pin) and 3 (Bolt, Nut and Split Pin), Grade A. Manufactured with the latest technology in electrical upset forging, with a safety factor of 6:1. Available with a pin option - safety pin with standard nut (E Type). The special bolt design ensures that the nut is correctly positioned with sufficient space for the splitting pin. Suitable for general lifting purposes, including offshore applications, waterworks, corrosive facilities such as chemical plants and chlorine plants, as well as pump chains and general lifting and securing in marine leisure activities.
